Wine!

This was our view leaving Bakersfield. There were many fields that were extremely dry. The drought there is painfully obvious. I did not think we would find a green vineyard anywhere.

Found one!!!




Shai is not as excited about wine as I am. I think that is a good thing at this time.


We ended up at the Eberle Vineyard. Here we got to take a tour through the process of wine making. They even have a man made cave to keep the temperature correct for the process. I got a couple of bottles of white that actually made it home through checked baggage. Hopefully I will have occasion to share these bottles with friends soon.
